2021 Dance Concert

2021 Dance Concert

This year’s dance concerts theme was turning toward gratitude. This was the very first dance concert in the brand new auditorium. There were many different styles this year all from ballet, ballroom, hip hop, and last but not least pom. There was even a student lead choreographed  project by a small group from our very own ballroom class. The lead choreographers were senior Jaiden Budinger and junior Joseph Williams with a little help from the dancers. The group consisted of Alora Foote, Olivia McOmber, Emily Pagnotta, Jaiden Budinger, Madeline Padilla, Emily Brinson, Nathaniel Diaz, Mason Taylor, Troy Eldredge, Craig Dawson, Kaleb Brinson, and lastly Jonas McGuire. It takes a lot of courage to do a small group dance and a ballroom at that. Some of the favorite dances of the night were I Won’t Say I Am In Love, performed in a small ballroom group, One Two Step performed intermediate, and Take Me To Church choreographed and performed by Grace Skiba. With all worries and nerves going into this dance concert, they never perform all of their dances with costume changes in the Fine Arts Auditorium. But everything went without a problem, costume changes, entering and exiting, getting on stage in general. Everyone did a fantastic job. Many people were nervous since it was their first time dancing on a real stage before. We could not be more proud of all of our dancers. Every single dancer performed their very best. Everything went so well with the lighting and the curtains. We love our dancers and couldn’t be more happy with them and all they accomplished this semester and can not wait to see what will come next.
