The National Basketball Association has been one of the top entertainers for people around the world as the playoffs are going on. The NBA playoffs are not the only thing that is going on though because there is some behind the scenes action going on too. A lot of questions are being asked around the league. Where will Zion Williamson land? What is next for the Lakers as a franchise? Where will Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving go? All these questions are yet to be answered, but as of right now everyone is unsure of the future of the League. Also some of the players have been struggling in the NBA playoffs. Kyrie Irving and Joel Embiid have struggled in the second round of the playoffs. Kyrie Irving and the Celtics were knocked out of the playoffs yesterday and Kyrie had 102 points on 104 shots in the second round. Joel Embiid has had the flu for most of the second round so he has not played that well.

Lebron James has been trying to recruit Kawhi Leonard to come to the Lakers. There have been rumors that Leonard wants to play in Los Angeles, but not for the Lakers, he is thinking about going to the Clippers. Fox News says, “LeBron James has quietly been about the business of trying to get Kawhi Leonard to come to the Los Angeles Lakers instead of the Los Angeles Clippers. So, making a move like this, by not bringing in the coach he wants, not securing the coach he wants in Los Angeles, you never know what dominos are going to fall right now” (FoxNews). There has been a lot of talks about where Kyrie Irving is headed next. A lot of people think that he played his last season with the Celtics yesterday. The three top choices for Kyrie are the Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, and the Los Angeles Lakers. CBS Sports says, “The incumbent Celtics are naturally high on the list, but many see it as a longer shot for Irving to rejoin LeBron James on the Lakers. As for how a Russell-Irving backcourt would work in Brooklyn, either of them could ostensibly be shooting guards but that’s the kind of issue the team would have to face as it comes. Russell will be a restricted free agent this season, and he played well enough this year that he might get offered a max contract — something Irving would also undoubtedly command. Irving has remained tight-lipped about his future with the Celtics, so him staying in Boston isn’t totally out of the question. However, with the way their series against the Bucks is unfolding, he may deem it time to seek greener pastures come the offseason” (CBSSports). Also Kevin Durant could potentially leave Golden state and Land maybe somewhere in the east.
