The Student-Faculty relations committee encourages a greater bond between the students, faculty, and staff of the University outside of the classroom by encouraging a healthy means of communication, faculty participation at student events, and faculty presence on campus outside the classroom. The committee works directly with the chair and members of the Student-Faculty relations committee of the University Faculty Senate.
Students concerned about topics relating to Student-Faculty Relations on campus are asked to contact USGAfacstu@newhaven.edu or by filling out a concern form on this website.
Resolutions
Student Concern: How can I send out an e-mail to all Faculty?
Resolution: You can send the e-mail to
and they will be happy to send it out to the faculty!
Student Concern: How can I contact the faculty about an event or how can a send an e-mail to a large number of faculty?
Resolution: The best way to contact the faculty and staff is face-to-face. Many faculty respond well to students asking them to come to events. To email a large number of faculty, it is probably best to go through your advisor. Email your advisor and ask them to send an email out to all faculty and staff. Be careful with this as faculty receive many emails, so we do not want to flood their inboxes. You can also contact me at
with events you believe faculty would enjoy.
